FAR Rabat of Morocco beat Sudan’s Al Merrikh 2-0, advancing 4-2 on aggregate. Tunisia’s Esperance demolished Somalia’s Dekedaha 8-0 (12-1 aggregate). Al Ahly, reigning champions, dominated Gor Mahia of Kenya 3-0, progressing with a 6-0 aggregate.

South African Teams Cruise

Mamelodi Sundowns eased past Mbabane Swallows of Eswatini 4-0 (8-0 aggregate), while Orlando Pirates beat Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy 1-0 (3-0 aggregate).

Al Hilal of Sudan beat San Pedro 1-0 to progress 3-2 on aggregate. Young Africans of Tanzania routed Ethiopia’s Commercial Bank 6-0 (7-0 aggregate), while Raja Casablanca beat Samartex 2-0 (4-2 aggregate). Mouloudia Alger overcame US Monastir 2-0 to win 2-1 on aggregate.

Penalty Drama in Algeria

Chabab Belouizdad edged Douanes 1-0 and advanced 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 aggregate.
